Elaina is taking over her blog!!!

Hi I’m Elaina De Santiago. This is my online diary where you get to hear a lot about all the stuff about me! Some stuff is crazy and embarrassing but others are sweet and heartbreaking. This is the first chapter. Here is a story I've been working on.  Let me know what you think:

Open House

Last night was Open House at Elaina's school, a fun night where the kids get to show off their work and their classroom.  The highlight of the night for me was looking through Elaina's writing journal.  Here is one of my favorite writings....

"Dear Dead Frog That My Mom Squashed, My Mom didn't mean to squash you. Please don't show your guts to me or my family. Even though I've been curious about you. I am pretty sure you're in frog heaven . Don't twitch at my daddy. She squashed you with the car.  You freak me out.  Love, Elaina"

Future Aspirations

On the way to school this morning...

Elaina: I feel more like I should be skydiving than going to school.

Me: Because of your backpack?

Elaina: Yes, it's so light...but I would NEVER skydive, it's too scary.  I would like to go into space though.

Me:  You think that's less scary than skydiving?

Elaina: Yes, all you do is float, wear heavy clothes, and stay in good shape.  I like that...just three responsibilities.  BUT, you can't float at the wrong time...only when they tell you.  Otherwise, your face could get puffy.

Making America Great aka Elaina For President!

"We can make America great by: Not litoring (littering), stop poulishon (pollution), help people, help anmails. The U.S. is not a place to dirty up.  It is place to keep clean.  Some people think this place is for trash like a trash can or only for people or for poulshone."

Snow Day

A short story about a mom who wouldn't let her little girl go outside on a snow day....

Bugs

Elaina...lover of bugs...unless she's at camp...

"The boy should not squish the ant
He should leave him alone.
Bugs have't to live their own way
and so do people."

He better move as fast as those three tiny legs can carry him if he doesn't wanna be squished!
